Template:Profile card

About this template

An expandable profile for a house, duchy, organisation, or other group.

On desktop, the collapsed card shows its name, subtitle, and motto. Opening it reveals the full profile and a larger captioned image on the right. On mobile, the icon appears beside the name and subtitle. The motto appears only after opening. The icon and title toggle the card; an up arrow at the bottom closes it.

Uses the shared profile-card styles and controls in MediaWiki:Common.css and MediaWiki:Common.js.

Parameters

• id — unique card ID on the page, such as house-umbraxix.
• name — profile name.
• subtitle — descriptive title beneath the name on mobile.
• motto — motto or short quotation, without italic markup.
• image — image filename without File:.
• image alt — optional description of the expanded image.
• caption — optional image caption; defaults to the name followed by “emblem.”
• content — full profile in wikitext.

For a table-of-contents entry or section link, place a wiki heading before the card. Existing pages can keep their wizlords-toc-only-heading wrapper to hide that heading visually.
