When creating a second or third character, that character begins as a brand new resident of Tanyth.

New characters start with:

* 0 Experience
* 0 Reputation
* 0 Coin
* No Items or Treasures

Your existing characters retain all of their own progression separately.

Before each game session, players must nominate which of their characters they will be playing.

Only one character may be played during a game session.

For full-day events, weekend events, campaigns, and other long-form adventures, players must select a single character for the entire duration of the event.

<div class="wizlords-collapsible-section-subheading">Character Retirement and Consolidation</div>

Players may retire or delete characters that they no longer wish to play.

Once every six months, players may request a character consolidation.

During consolidation, one character is selected to receive the Experience earned by another retired character.

The following transfers to the chosen character:

* Experience

The following are not transferred during consolidation:

* Reputation
* Coin

These are lost when the character is retired.

This system allows players to experiment with different character concepts while ensuring progression remains meaningful and manageable.
